Effects of the Johnius belengerii hydrolysate (JFH) on cytotoxicity (a) and nitric oxide (b) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages. The cells were pretreated for 1 h with different concentrations (10, 50, and 100 μg/ml) of the JFH. LPS (0.25 μg/ml) was then added, and the cells were incubated for 24 h. The cytotoxicity was determined using the MTT assay, and NO level was measured to the collected medium using the Griess reaction. Values are expressed as means ± S.D. of triplicate experiments. *p < 0.05 indicates significant differences from the LPS-stimulated group
